Twenty-two breast cancer patients with arm oedema answered a questionnaire to
assess the efficacy of intermittent pneumatic compression therapy. Ten patients
found the treatment useful, 12 were disappointed. A number of factors were analysed
to find out whether it is possible to predict the outcome of treatment.
